STARTING out as an entertainment reporter just over a decade ago, I recall one of the biggest complaints that often made the news back then was how Durban was all too often excluded from the tours of major international acts. Anand Naidoo, 83, chairperson of Tesco, the Central Tongaat Section Group, said the club started 31 years ago. Tesco is one of the eight groups under the mother organisation, Ascot (the Association of Senior Citizens of Tongaat).
