CRASH DIETS Attempting to lose weight with extreme calorie restriction is a major contributor to hormonal imbalances. It significantly reduces leptin and increases ghrelin. It is far better to adopt a more patient and balanced approach to weight loss. TOO LITTLE SLEEP Skimping on sleep is a very bad idea if your goal is fat loss. Sleep deprivation can increase ghrelin and decrease leptin. Just one night of too little sleep can leave you with an increased appetite the next day.
