K-Z: Hey Sam! How did you become a performer in Marvel Universe LIVE? S: I first heard of Marvel Universe LIVE! when a training buddy landed a role in the early stages of the show. I thought it was incredible that this show existed, and it stayed in the back of my mind. In 2015, I saw auditions for the show were being held 20 minutes from where I worked so, on a whim, I decided to give it a chance. The audition lasted for about four hours and we went over basic acrobatics, martial arts skills, special skills and also fight choreography. SKETCHY SKETCHES There are 126 Sketchbook Pages to be found in Concrete Genie. The Pages aren’t marked on the map. Ouch! This epic count includes 60 Features, 48 Designs and 18 Genies. DRIVERLESS TO IMPRESS! Meet the M19-D! This is Australia’s first student-built, fully autonomous race car, created by students from Monash University’s Monash Motorsport team. Monash Motorsport first began development on the M19-D in 2016, with over 200 undergraduate students working on the project. The talented team designed and built its innovative and high-performance features. The car is able to detect the racetrack and perceive the environment in real time, and has an advanced laser scanner (or LiDAR unit), as well as a GPS unit that can locate the race car within a 10cm radius.
