BITTER exes Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey divorced nearly 18 years ago, but they still act like rivals and attack each other with petty bickering, stunned insiders dish.
The 42-year-old beauty and her 49-year-old first hubby became household names for their 2003 reality show, Newlyweds, which showcased their toxic marriage, leading to a 2006 divorce.
“But the bad blood is still alive and they squabble over everything,” tattles an insider. “She still thinks he’s rude, and he thinks she’s an airhead.”
Jessica’s TV pilot based on her hit memoir, Open Book, was just canned and Nick is gloating, says the insider, adding: “He’s petty that way.”
Meanwhile, Nick’s show, Love Is Blind, has been getting slammed recently and Jessica’s telling mutual pals “he had it coming for being so smug,” notes…
