The CSIRO, the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) and AFMA have jointly developed an Adaption of Fisheries to Climate Change Handbook, aimed at helping the fishing industry, fisheries managers and other fisheries stakeholders establish a shared understanding of climate risks and develop adaptive management options. The handbook is designed to help these stakeholders explore how climate change affects aspects of fisheries management such as sustainable catch limits, fishing rules, and methods and gear used.
