How we test
We’ve pitched a total of six memory kits, all with RGB lighting, against each other to see which kits overclock the furthest, as well as which ones offer the tightest timings, and the best lighting, software and value. RGB memory is far more widely available in dual-channel kits with two memory modules, rather than quad-channel kits, and we’ve tested the lot, with kits from ADATA, Corsair, G.Skill and Team Group. Our quad-channel kits, meanwhile, consist of G.Skill’s Trident Z RGB and Corsair’s Vengeance RGB.
