Luke and Janah married in a gorgeous ceremony overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. The couple wanted each aspect of their wedding to be uniquely them, and to reflect the supportive relationships around them. Thirty-five of our guests joined us on our plane ride to Rarotonga, and over the following few days the rest of our 53 guests arrived. Before our big day, we celebrated our hen and stag do’s on the island, attended a cultural show, and spent the day before the wedding relaxing with guests on a snorkelling cruise. We stayed and got married at Pacific Resort on Muri Beach, which is a beautiful boutique luxury resort with a relaxed atmosphere. Our theme was a rustic beach wedding. After a romantic proposal in Fiji, Liki and Nafiah flew back to Auckland and decided on a short engagement. A cake design should always be inspired and unique. After being together for eight years, Aylish and Ryan were married on beautiful Hahei Beach, before celebrating at a rustic, carefree and relaxed reception on the bride’s family estate. We landed on a rustic, woodland theme and found an incredible venue in the Papamoa Hills that had a sweeping drive, beech-tree woodland, and a rustic barn.
