“Swimming was my first love,” reveals Wactor. “I swam against Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte. They, of course, beat me, but I had dreams of being at the Olympics. Now, I love bouldering. I’m in the bouldering gym, climbing stuff like a monkey, for hours. It doesn’t feel like work, but it’s definitely a full-body workout. It’s challenging, as much physically as it is mentally, because you’re climbing problems. There’s no set blueprint to climbing things. You just figure it out. That’s most of my workout, but I move every day, and I’ll do anything that gets my blood flowing. My car is like a gym locker. I’ve got cleats, goggles and a swimsuit, boxing gloves and mitts.
