The In Depth Story: While Hughes has been behind the camera before, she’s quite eager to gain more experience in that department. “I would love to direct television,” she tells Soaps In Depth. So when given the opportunity to shadow a director on Freeform’s THE FOSTERS, she jumped — even though that meant missing the annual lunch. “This was my second time shadowing, and it’s been amazing,” says Hughes, who previously directed a short film and most recently, the supernatural indie series CYPRESS BAYOU, which doesn’t have a home yet. Deny, Deny, Deny! Caught in the bushes by Jason and Sam, Franco seemed genuinely befuddled by the accusation that he’d been spying on them. With eye rolls and impatient stares, Franco casually dropped barbs and even sang a rhyme denying his guilt.
