On 29 September, the winners of The Week Junior Book Awards were announced at a ceremony in London. This was the third time the annual awards have taken place. The awards celebrate the very best in children’s literature, and a long list of incredible book titles competed across 14 different categories.
Around 300 people attended the event at County Hall, including children’s author and poet Michael Rosen, CBeebies presenter George Webster, author and illustrator Nadia Shireen, scientist Big Manny, author Elle McNicoll, and historian Greg Jenner.
