At 30 years old, Sabah Ahmedi, from Manchester, England, is one of the youngest imams in the UK. Imam means “in the front” and refers to those who lead prayers at mosques (the Muslim place of worship). Ahmedi told The Week Junior that, “At the age of 16, I decided to give my life for the service of religion.”
One of Ahmedi’s passions is sharing his knowledge with younger generations using social media. He says, “I use social media to show snippets of my life as a Muslim, to help people understand Islam better.”
