One year ago South Africa went into lockdown level 5 following the spread of the Coronavirus worldwide. For a few weeks we were in total isolation, with very little to do other than to keep ourselves entertained in the confinement of our homes. Just one of the initiatives Plastics|SA is spearheading is called Operation Clean Sweep! The project aims to protect our waterways by having companies take responsibility and put in place processes that eliminate resin pellets from entering our waterways. The “Pledge to Prevent Resin Pellet, Flake and Powder Loss” will show a company’s commitment to a cleaner environment.
