CFMoto have revealed their biggest bike yet, the first fruit of a deal with KTM which sees the Chinese brand use a variety of the Austrian firm’s motors.
Called the 800MT, the new bike uses the 799cc parallel twin from KTM’s outgoing 790 Adventure and looks set to offer a modestly priced, road-focused alternative to KTM’s ‘ready to race’ machines.
Power and torque are the same as the KTM, at 92bhp and 65lb. ft and it also hasn’t lost any of its sister bike’s tech, including slipper clutch, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, quickshifter and multiple riding modes. There’s a high level of ‘comfort tech’ too, some of which wasn’t on the 790, including cruise control, TFT dash with navigation, keyless ignition, automatic LED lights, fog lights, heated grips…
