Last December, the court found Elena Belaya and Elina Sushkevich not guilty of murder and they were acquitted of any crime. Five of the eight jurors agreed the baby had not been injected with a drug that caused his death. New research has shown that you could be putting yourself at risk of i developing serious eyesight-damaging infections.* A study surveyed 78 contactlens wearers to determine the risk factors for developing contact-lens related microbial keratitis. This is an infection of the cornea - the eye’s outermost lens - and usually begins with redness and pain in one eye. If left untreated, it can lead to blurred vision and a scarred cornea. Researchers found that not removing lenses before showering was a major cause of infection.
