Apollo’s Vredestein buy marked by tulip APOLLO Tyres has branched out by commissioning an all-new variety of tulip to mark the 15th anniversary of its acquisition of tyre manufacturer Vredestein. The programme also highlights figures that Auto Express reported last year, which showed that drivers are three times more likely to be killed or seriously injured when breaking down on a smart motorway, compared to one with a hard shoulder. The statistics have been linked to malfunctions with the smart motorway network’s detection and digital gantry system.
