IT’S BEEN A LONG time in development, but the big news for the updated Hyundai i30 N is the arrival, finally, of an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. This stands to help snare a whole raft of new buyers, but they’ll also be lured by the engine boost, weight reduction, brake upgrade and interior enhancements.
Due in Australia in the first half of 2021, the facelifted and updated i30 N hatch wears a new look that incorporates sharper LED lighting headlight and tail-light accents, revised front and rear bumpers with aerodynamic improvements, and fat exhaust outlets bolted into unchanged metalwork.
