John Clarke, beloved for nearly 40 years for his portrayal of Mickey Horton on Days of Our Lives, has died, aged 88. John died from complications of pneumonia on October 16th, 2019 in Laguna Beach, California. The soap star had suffered a stroke in 2007 and had been especially ill the last few years. “It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of our dear friend and original cast member, John Clarke,” read a statement from Corday Productions, which produces Days. “A beloved member of the Days of Our Lives family, John will always hold a special place in our hearts and the hearts of our fans.
