What do you consider the hallmarks of a well-sewn garment?

Perfect matching, careful pressing, perfect symmetry, are all obvious hallmarks, but fit is important, as well. Patterns fit no one, straight out of the envelope. Careful attention to fit can be as important as a perfectly finished interior, whether you are making a knit tee or a three-piece tailored suit.”
