A London music festival has been cancelled after the Government blocked its main act, Kanye West, from coming to the UK. The American musician has made antisemitic remarks in the past. Antisemitism is unfair, unequal or unkind behaviour towards people because they are Jewish.
West is a well-known rapper, music producer and clothes designer. He was booked to headline Wireless, an annual music festival that was due to take place in July. Over the last five years, West has said that he admires Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi Party in Germany, whose policies resulted in the murder of six million Jewish people between 1933 and 1945.
