The Grand Egyptian Museum, which is the world’s sixth-largest museum, has opened in Egypt’s capital, Cairo.
The building cost £910 million and has taken more than 20 years to complete. It contains around 100,000 artefacts covering 7,000 years of Egyptian history. It is one of the oldest wooden artefacts ever discovered and is very well preserved.
