WITH OUR 383’S WEIGHT already reduced by a very significant 78 (initially) and finally 91 pounds, we were happy campers. The car immediately felt quite a bit more responsive, due to both the improved flow from our 440 Source Stealth cylinder heads and, when rounding corners or braking, from the significant weight reduction. We were, truth be told, totally satisfied. Until, that is, we learned about 440 Source’s new “A990-ish” sheet aluminum alternator brackets, and matching Saginaw PS pump hardware. We hadda have ’em.
