“I think your jewelry is the 1980s,” the ever-astute Andy Warhol told Nicola Bulgari in Interview magazine. “Everybody’s trying to copy this look.” As the decade dawned, the evolving features of the brand had crystallized into a signature style typified by volume, strong lines, stylized motifs, and ancient Roman references.
