THE Two Oceans Aquarium was honoured with the Mayor’s Medal for Conservation at the City of Cape Town’s prestigious Civic Honours Ceremony.
This award, presented by Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, recognises the Aquarium’s significant three-decade contribution to marine research, conservation, rehabilitation, and environmental advocacy. The recognition arrived a day after the aquarium marked its 30th birthday.
