Honor was hardly the only phone brand racing to beat Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series to the punch – but this latest generation took a bit more time than the likes of OnePlus and Oppo. It’s a puck-sized device that connects directly to your router and is, essentially, the brain of your lighting setup. Ring continues to refine and improve its devices, and the weather-resistant Outdoor Cam Pro has some mighty impressive skills in its locker. It’s available either as a plug-in model – which is the one I’m reviewing here – or as a much more pricey Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) option. This latter does what it says on the tin, delivering electricity over an Ethernet connection to areas where there isn’t usually a power outlet, like your garden or an outbuilding.
