WHAT’S THE VERDICT? It took under three hours for the jury to decide that Brittni Colleps was guilty. Colleps was convicted of 16 counts of having improper relationships with students. In August 2012, she was sentenced to five years in prison. After the trial, Colleps said she was at a ‘dark point’ in her life when she had sex with the teens, but maintains she did not do anything unlawful. ‘In no way, shape, or form was I ever preying on anybody,’ she said in a TV interview. ‘I never coerced anybody to do anything.
