THE GREAT OUTDOORS With the Christmas and New Year festivities all done and dusted, I’m looking forwards to a more relaxed approach to living, decorating and entertaining. I’m not going on summer holidays this year, so I fully intend to bring that vacation vibe into my home. The first thing I’ll do is have a quick clean-up blitz, because for at least a week I want to do nothing but chill out, and that means no housework! The folks at Jardan have been busy bees. Not only have they opened an inspiring new flagship store in Perth, but they’ve launched a new indoor and outdoor collection called Living Forms. The furniture range is inspired by the new way Australians are using their homes and aims to provide comfort and calm. Championing organic shapes, colours and materials typical to Australian landscapes, this range breathes new life into essentials. Seen here are the ‘Izzy’ outdoor sofa, from $6445, ‘Otis’ coffee table, from $1703, and ‘Henry’ armchair, $2779 (pictured). Shop the range at jardan.com.au.…

MR CURTIS “Mr Curtis has the best view of the [Port Phillip] bay and gorgeous eclectic furniture. This is our go-to date night spot, and sometimes for a sneaky Friday lunch, too. The food is tapas style and it’s so fun to order a heap of different side dishes to share.” Visit: 4/42 Lochiel Ave, Mount Martha, Vic (03) 5974 3637. Bright, Victoria “Bright is surrounded by mountains on the Ovens River, with bike trails for the whole family, gorgeous hikes and loads of outdoor time. I always feel restored after being there, having had plenty of time by the fire, with time to read and enjoy good wine.” Bookmark: visitbright.com.au. The Commonfolk “It’s more than just a job to me. I have channelled a lot of grief, creativity, love and hard work into this business and…
