SKY ONE, TUESDAY 24 FEBRUARY, 9PM BAFTA-winner and all-round ace human Danny Dyer can do pretty much anything, but can he run a caravan site on the Isle of Sheppey? That’s the premise of this funny, heartwarming series, in which Danny has invested in a site in Leysdown, ‘risking his money, reputation and sanity trying to bring back the great British holiday’. Luckily, he has daughter Dani to lean on, because in ep one, the caravan and chalet owners make their list of complaints and suggestions well known. DISNEY+, THURSDAY 26 FEBRUARY The hospital-set US sitcom Scrubs, created by Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Shrinking), lasted nine seasons and 182 episodes, ending in 2010. Now, it’s getting a revival because, well, everything does these days. But we are genuinely excited to see how beloved characters JD (Zach Braff), Turk (Donald Faison) and Elliot (Sarah Chalke) are doing all these years later, especially bearing in mind that medicine has changed quite a lot over the last 16 years. NETFLIX, THURSDAY 26 FEBRUARY We devoured part one of season four in one sitting, enjoying the upstairs-downstairs focus and the excitement and drama of Benedict (Luke Thompson) fancying maid Sophie (Yerin Ha) while also pining for the Lady in Silver (also, Sophie). What we did not love is the way Benedict belittled the smart, confident maid in episode four, suggesting she was only good enough to be his mistress. Mistress! Now, we finally see if Benedict can redeem himself – getting over himself and his social conditioning – or if Sophie will, understandably, tell him where to shove his paintbrush. APPLE TV, FRIDAY 27 FEBRUARY The most intriguing thing about this fantasy adventure series featuring loads of CGI King Kong/Gozilla-adjacent monsters is that one of its main characters – Lee Shaw – is played as an old geezer by the great Kurt Russell, while the younger version is played by Kurt’s actual son Wyatt Russell. The young Lee founded Monarch, an organisation that tracks down such monsters, and in season two, buried secrets come to light that enable the Monarch heroes to gather on Kong’s Skull Island, where they find a new, mysterious village where a gigantic Titan creature rises from the sea.
