If you’ve been tempted into spending £799 on a 13in iPad Air (www.snipca.com/53151), perhaps because you fancy a tablet with a larger screen, take a moment to consider this more affordable Android alternative.
Chinese firm Honor has made some of the best budget Android tablets around, including the Honor Pad 9 (£220 from www.snipca.com/49958, reviewed in Issue 682) and the Honor Pad X9 (£130 from www.snipca.com/48636, reviewed in Issue 674). This offering, the MagicPad2, is larger and more expensive, but it’s still £300 less than the cheapest similarly sized iPad.
